The SORCER Laboratory is located at Boston Ave and 8th Street.  It is on the northwestern part of the TTU Lubock campus, on at Boston Ave and 8th Street., next to the Football Stadium. The CS building is also known as the Engineering Center building. Please call the Visitor Center 806-742-1299 with any questions.

TTU is located on the High Plains of Texas equidistant between Dallas and Albuquerque, Lubbock, Texas, is home to almost 250,000 resident and Texas Tech University. The Visitors Center is located in West Hall. Enter the Texas Tech campus through the main entrance at Broadway and University Avenue. West Hall is the second building on the right.

From the south or southeast: Enter the city on Highway 84. Take Loop 289 West to the University Avenue exit. Go north on University Avenue to Broadway and enter the Texas Tech campus by turning left on Broadway.

From the west or southwest: Enter the city on Highway 62/82, which becomes Brownfield Highway inside the Lubbock city limits. Merge right from Brownfield Highway to 19th Street. Continue east on 19th Street to a stoplight at University Avenue. Turn left (north) on University Avenue and continue to Broadway. Enter the Texas Tech campus by turning left on Broadway.

From the north: Enter the city on Interstate 27 and take the 4th Street exit. Turn right (west) on 4th Street and continue to a stoplight at University Avenue. Turn left (south) on University Avenue to Broadway. Enter the campus by turning right on Broadway.

Lubbock International Airport is located approximately 15 minutes from the Texas Tech University campus and is serviced by Southwest, Continental, American and Delta Airlines.

Parking is available to visitors to TTU. A parking attendant stationed in a booth near the entrance to campus will provide a visitor's dash pass and directions to visitor parking. The visitor must display this pass in his/her automobile. Campus activities such as home football games and new student orientation conferences may cause unusually heavy traffic on campus. Please allow extra time if you are visiting during one of these activities. Keep in mind that more visitors attend tours on Mondays and Fridays.
